A) I chose podcast as a creative expression because Podcast has created a new world to communication and media. Podcast can be defined as a series of audio and video files or digital media files that are available on the Internet which is released incidentally and often being downloaded via web syndication. Meanwhile podcasting is a creative process which involves a few different components. Podcast binds million of listeners . Podcasts are also a fantastic way to learn from events that we cannot attend in person; it’s the next best thing and means we won’t miss out entirely, especially events that are many miles away or even overseas. It’s fast and easy to reach people . I think podcast is the effective way to reach out the listeners .

B) A creative expression is what we can attract people to listen , watch or read . Everyone wants a creative mode of expression . Create expression helps people to connect , at all stages of their life. Creativity can be expressed in different forms such as social media , short films , poetry , painting ,podcasts etc. . It can be utilized to express thoughts and feelings that are too big or too difficult to put into words . A creative mode of expression is important in historical imagination because it makes us think actively , constructively , putting together different sources of evidence to construct a picture of the past . The central concern of the discipline of history is to understand how people existed, acted and thought in the past and the societies and cultures they inhabited. The objective of the intellectual and emotional enterprise is to create imaginary worlds that never actually existed based on interpretations of factual evidence and intuition. Because the past has no objective material reality, any interaction with it can only be a creative and imaginative one. he central concern of the discipline of history is to understand how people existed, acted and thought in the past and the societies and cultures they inhabited. C) The writer presents a character named Bishan Singh who is revolutionary in nature. His attempt to break the religious and cultural boundaries is praiseworthy as he is ready to die in the border i.e. no-man’s land raising the voice of true universal moral values. In fact, millions died during partition violence. The Muslims died chanting the slogans “Pakistan Zindabad” and the Hindus and Sikhs died chanting the voice of their liberation and demanding separate state on the basis of their religious principles. In such critical condition, the character Bishan Singh neither supports India nor Pakistan; rather he climbs on the tree that lies in between India and Pakistan. His death on no-man’s land indicates that he is opposing partition and intends to live in harmony. The writer’s attempt to disqualify the ethical aspects by highlighting moral values is his condemnation of partition violence.

D) While the aftereffects of partition are living history, one wonders what would have been if India had not been partitioned at all. How different would our lives be if Pakistan was still a part of India? What would the politics and economy look like? Partition has had several obvious economic disadvantages, including the size of the workforce, territorial and maritime claims, and the ability to extend eco-political power relative to what could have been. One of the most notable aspects of the pre-colonization period of Indian history is the economic prosperity the country had seen. India was one of the biggest exporters in the continent (if not the entire world). However, during the exploiting period of British colonization, India’s economy faltered. I think there’d not have been any civil war in the first place! The cost of the Partition is hard to imagine – almost a million deaths, ten million homeless, and continued conflicts. Add to this the subsequent costs in Bangladesh and the ongoing ones in Kashmir. If the inability of Hindus and Muslims to live together is given as the sole reason for the Partition, it should be considered that in all the one thousand years that Muslims lived in India, there was never once this scale of conflict or bloodshed . It was possible to live together. In fact Hindus and Muslims continue to live together in India even though their relations were poisoned and made immensely difficult by the fact of the Partition.
