a) The creative mode of the presentation I have chosen is collage (collection of pictures). Pictures help us focus more and helps us remember things. Just by looking at the pictures, we can understand the entire story. The point is with pictures, you can convey much more information than you can with words. Pictures can help people remember the incidents for a long time. I’m someone who prefers movies over books and I personally don’t like text-heavy stories. Collage art has no rules, it's completely imaginary. It has no words or text presenting a story complete with pictures is something very interesting to do.

b)    Creative mode of presentation is necessary for historical representation because people have no interest in knowing about things that happened long back and reading about such events might seem like a waste of time to them. To keep the readers more engaged in the story there must be something creative and new.

c)     A crooked line drawn on a piece of paper wouldn’t make much difference, taking you back to the year 1947 a line drawn by Sir Cyril Radcliffe on the map of India and Pakistan resulted in never-ending conflicts, where people on both sides of the line are facing its consequences. Millions lost their life, lakhs lost their family and loved ones. The British were successful in tearing apart the Muslims and Hindus both before and after the partition. The British ruled India for more than 200 years and its sequel continues to date. The northern regions of India suffered the most whereas rest of the India was not under many struggles. Women were harassed, many were forced to leave their wealth and move to the other side of the line. Amongst the many who struggled Bishan Singh was one of them. He lost the love of life whom he met in Tobha Tek Singh, Pakistan. He went there with a crew of five people to research the Indus Valley Civilization. He fell in love with Hayat Khan, they eloped and got married but Hayat’s family held them captive and bet Bishan to death. He was admitted to the hospital and later was sent to a mental asylum in Lahore because of serious brain injuries. Whereas Hayat was married to one of her relatives. He wanted to go back to Tobha Tek Singh because he thought Hayat was waiting for him. But because he breached the Pakistan border during the exchange of patients in the asylum, he was shot dead by the soldier on the border. He was lying dead on the border of India and Pakistan which is considered as – NO MAN’S LAND.

d)    If the partition had not taken place, we wouldn’t have developed hatred on Pakistan. And also, there wouldn’t have been bloodshed all over the country during the partition. The partition took place over 70 years back but still there’s enmity between the two countries. The decision made by Jinnah and Jawaharlal Nehru just because both of them wanted to rule the country and none of them were ready to give up the power the partition took place. The greed of two people led to never-ending drama. In Bishan Singh’s case if the partition hadn’t taken place he would have gotten a chance to meet his love at least once before his death. If the partition wouldn’t have happened millions of people wouldn’t have suffered and many wouldn’t have lost their lives and families.
