 The mode that I chose to bring out my idea about the story is by creating a comic video. I felt that this mode will be appropriate because videos are more interesting as they help us convey stories in a unique way and helps to grab the attention of the people easily. I have used background music also in my video to bring out the in-depth feeling of the story as music is a universal language where it connects people and unites them. Music is not just sound; it has the power to convey emotions in its own unique way. Nowadays comics are gaining popularity as they are graphic-based stories where it creates curiosity among the readers when they read a comic. It is a way to convey and entertain people by using sequential art. I combined all these techniques together to elicit the interest of the people about the past happenings that have an effect on the people even today. 

A creative mode is important to express historical events as they give us the freedom to imagine, create and understand expressions in our own way. Sometimes it adds meaning to the content, enhances the quality of the idea, brings out the emotion of the people who are insensitive to the happenings in the past that created an impact that even lasts today. So creative expressions have the advantage to make an incurious topic fascinating and vulnerable and helps to communicate the topic in a more sensible way.

The content that I used in the story is time traveling as it a topic that is gaining popularity and creates interest among the people. So, in this video I imagined Toba Tek Singh as a person who suffers the trauma of the partition of India and Pakistan in the name of religion. As we can see that this trauma has continued to survive in several forms even today. The idea of partition has created a gap between people in the name of religion. Though people thought that it was a decision taken to bring peace and harmony but it turned out to be a mishap where people had to face a lot of problems because of this decision where we can see the impact of the trauma even today where people protest and create intricacy in the name of religion.

In the story of ‘Toba Tek Singh’, the character’s name is Bishan Singh. To justify this concept I imagined that because Bishan Singh used to ask everyone where Toba Tek Singh was? The people in the asylum used to call him by that name. There was a place called Toba Tek Singh, which was a  district in the Pakistan Province of Punjab. In order to connect the past and the present, I have used time traveling as a bridge to convey my understanding and idea in an appropriate way to create curiosity among people. Even though it comes under the fiction genre I felt that it might be interesting for the people and it might help me to grab the attention of the people and comprehend my idea to the people. Due to partition, it is the common people who are affected because of the trauma that took place centuries ago though there might be many intentions behind this event. I felt that it was taken mainly based on religion even though we have been thought about unity in diversity in school we fail to put them into practice though it occurred centuries ago it has disguised itself in many forms to fluster the peace and harmony between the two nations. Though we cannot undo the past we can make it up in the future by sowing the seeds of peace and harmony in the mind and hearts of the people.

If the idea of partition was dropped in the first place itself our country could have emerged into a victorious state with a stable economy where it could have been a developed country more developed than the US with better human resources, strong military force, etc. The gap between people in the name of religion would have been filled with peace and harmony where the bond between the people would have become stronger and people would have lived happily without any discrimination in the name of religion. The dispute that took place in the border between India and Pakistan that is the Pulwama attack, Indo -Pak war, Kashmir problem, etc. wouldn’t have taken place and we could have saved thousands of people lives from being departed due to this substandard decision taken by the leaders in the past for which we are paying the price even today.
