I have chosen poster as a mode for creative expression. The reason behind me choosing poster is because I feel pictures speak louder than words. I feel I can express myself better through pictures. I think poster will attract readers rather then words. I have assumed Toba Tek Singh as a person.

A creative mode of expression is important in historical reimagination because many readers find History boring so I have tried to use pictures so that the readers don't lose their interest in the story

In my story I have assumed Toba Tek Singh as an individual who is afraid of being separated from his land. In my story the Government of India and The Government of Pakistan have decided to exchange lunatics after the tragic partition. The Muslim lunatics of India would be sent to Pakistan and The Hindu and sikh lunatics of Pakistan would be sent to India. When the news of exchange of lunatics comes to the knowledge of Toba Tek Singh he is terrified and he does not want to leave his land. In my story Toba Tek Singh was lunatic who never used to rest and because of him not resting his legs were swollen and he never used to talk to anyone . He would just keep on murmuring something to himself. Toba Tek Singh owned a land in Toba Tek Singh city but having lost his mind his relatives had sent him to the madhouse.

When Toba Tek Singh was being transferred to India from Pakistan he was very much afraid and he was not sure as to where was he being taken to. He asked people around him as to where was he being taken to but none of them knew where were they going. When one of the guards question Toba Tek Singh about his name Toba Tek Singh instead of answering him he questioned the guard back and asked him where was Toba Tek Singh. The Guard laughed and replied it is in Pakistan. Toba Tek Singh was furious and tried running back to Pakistan. But the Guards caught hold of him and didn't let him go . They told Toba Tek Singh that Toba Tek Singh is now in India but he did not believe them. Because Toba Tek Singh was harmless the guards left him between the border of India and Pakistan. Toba Tek Singh just stood there wanting to return to Pakistan. But the guards did not listen to him and he was left alone. Unfortunately he passed away . Lying on the land between India and Pakistan.

At the End, According to me if India and Pakistan weren't divided, India and Pakistan would have been a United Nation living peacefully and there wouldn't be any communal tensions between the two countries. Nevertheless the partition is done and no one can now change it. Further , If the guards would care to listen to Toba Tek Singh he would have lived happily in the city of Toba Tek Singh and would have enjoyed every moment living over there.
